Lian

Lian has always had a passion for working with animals, she studied at Houghall college and gained a national diploma in animal management in 2006.  She then went on to join the Army as a military dog handler, working with many dogs including german shepherds and spaniels trained in protection and detection roles. After completing a tour of duty in Afgahnistan back in 2011. She returned to move on to specialist search work with mine detection dogs.

In 2013 Lian completed her level 3 diploma in canine behaviour, this she studied with the British college of canine studies.

Lian left the Army in 2014 to establish LK9 pet services. She prides herself in being able to use her experiences to give the best advice and care to the owners and pets she works with.

In 2019 Lian was awarded a finalist for "Entrepreneur of the year" at the English Veterans Awards.

Further expanding her knowledge in 2019, Lian went on to complete her canine health and nutrition level 3 diploma with the British college of canine studies as well gaining "the dogs BFF award" awarded by the international school for canine psychology and behaviour.

In 2021 Lian completed her level 4 canine behaviour diploma gaining a distinction with the british college of canine studies.

With over 14 years experience in dog training and handling Lian is always aiming to give the LK9 family the best experience they can get!
